SRB Designs Varia Tether fitting instructions.

The SRB Designs Varia Safety Strap replaces the original charge port cover, which can be done by following these easy steps.

 

Tools required:

Philips Screwdriver

 

Step 1

Open the charge port cover.

 

 

Step 2

Undo the screw that holds the cover plate in place.

 

 

Step 3

Lift the charge port cover and plate off the light.

 

 

Step 4

Remove the charge port cover from the cover plate.

 

 

Step 5

Insert the end of the SRB Designs safety strap into the recess in the light.

 

 

Step 6

Put the cover place back in place, inserting the safety strap into the slotted hole in the process.

 

 

Step 7

Fix the cover plate down using the original screw.

 

 

Step 8

Slide the charge port cover down the safety strap and push over the charge port, in the same manner you would the original cover.

 

The installation is complete. The process can be reversed should the original cover need to be reinstalled.
